David Baszucki and Erik Cassel was made Roblox Corporation in 2004 and released in 2006 after several years of testing. In August 1989, David founded Knowledge Revolution which is a company that concentrated on educational physics and mechanical simulation software. Then, David Baszucki wrote a general-aim physics simulator named “Interactive Physics”. For your information, David Baszucki was a president of Knowledge Revolution (Until December 1998) and during this time he has been joined first by Erik Cassel. Then, in 1997 by Keith Lucas.
Based on the research, in January 1999, Knowledge Revolution was earned for $25 million which David Baszucki served as a vice president to make Roblox in 2004. They were joined by other employees of MSC Software soon. The first name, GoBlocks.com was released on December 2, 2003. But, it was changed Dynablocks.com from December 12, 2003 to January 30, 2004.
David Baszucki and Erik Cassel was created Dynablocks in the year of 2004. It was changed to Roblox in 2005 because the name of Dynablocks was hard to remember. It was also called Roblox v.10 based on DomainTools Screenshots. The website came out of beta and in 2006 was officially launched.
FROM 2009 TO 2012
Based on the research, the first Roblox convention, the Roblox Rally 2011 was held on August 1, 2011 in San Francisco. A similar event named the Roblox Game Conference 2012 was also held in 2012. The BLOXCON was held in Chicago, London, as well in New York. Then, it completed by the Virtual BLOXCON that could be watched through a live stream.
We get information that on April 1, 2012, the website was compromised that enabled an unknown individual to vandalize the website. The banners were added to the website that displayed offensive content. There are also other banners with offensive content were added. Some users of Roblox were given Large quantities of Robux, and some users were compromised most notable being 1dev2. Then, Roblox responded by taking the website down for maintenance in order to resolve the problem with the website. Finally, the website returned on April 2. Sometime, all users of Roblox ((around April 4th) who were involved in the hacking were terminated.
