Roblox is the great community of players and developers of many ages. They like to encourage a safe and fun environment for everyone. As a Roblox player, if you see other users breaking the rules, so you are able to report it to the Roblox Company. Apparently, Roblox has the tools in place for helping you to report any inappropriate behavior.
You have to know that the Report Abuse feature is a best way to let us know about the rule-breakers and bad content. It sends reports directly to moderators of Roblox and provide a way to keep track of repeat offenders so further steps can be taken against their account. Once you are reporting abuse, make sure to report the specific Chat, Private Message, Game or other Content which violates Roblox rules. If you only report a user from their profile page, so moderators of Roblox will not see what they did wrong.
REPORTING A USER IN-GAME
- Firstly, you need to select the Menu button.
- Then, select the flag icon or simply you can select the Report tab.
- For Game or Player? you can select the Player tab.
- Please select the Which Player pull-down menu, and find the username to report.
- Now, you can select the Type of Abuse pull-down menu, and find the inappropriate action.
- Next, the additional details can be written in the Short Description box.
- The last, select Submit to finalize.
If the game itself is breaking the rules, so you are able to report it while you are playing that game.
REPORTING VIOLATIONS OUTSIDE OF GAMES
If you find the users or content breaking the Roblox rules, just use the Report Abuse feature to report this to the moderators of Roblox. For your information, there are different ways to report.
- Reporting a game
To report an entire game, please use the red Report Abuse button in the lower right-hand corner of the Description box on the game’s About page.
- Reporting other content
To report an item in the Roblox catalog or library which is breaking the rules, so you can select the three dots button in the upper right hand corner of the item’s information box. Just, select Report item and fill out the form.
- Reporting app chat
To report chat made by other user, you can select the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the chat window to open the Chat Details. Then, you can select the button next to the user name which looks like the three dots, click Report. Select the red Report button to continue to the report form, then please fill it out and select the green Report Abuse button.
- Reporting a user-created advertisement
To report an Ad made by other user on the site, you can select Report below the right hand side of the Ad image. After that, you need to fill out the form and select the green Report Abuse button.
