Make Discord Emojis

In Discord, you are allowed to upload emoji. So, you are able to make it first and then upload it to Discord. But, you may not know how to do that so that now we are going to show you how to make and upload emoji to Discord.

If you want to make an emoji for Discord, you need a help of an editing software. Software that you are able to use for making emoji are Imoji, Bitmoji, or online creator like PiZap. You are able to make emoji from any image. If you want to make emoji in PiZap, you just have to visit www.pizap.com and then you have to click on More menu at the top of the screen. After that, click on Emoji Maker and you will be directed to a page where there are some menu including Edit, Collage, Design, Touch Up, Emoji Maker, Facebook Cover, Twitter Cover and Youtube Cover. So here, you need to click on Emoji Maker. In the Emoji Maker page, you will be able to make emoji as you want and there are some tools that you are able to use for making your emoji.


If you have finished in making an emoji, now you are able to upload it. How to do that? You are able to do that by opening Discord. The app can be found in the Windows menu if you are using Windows. After you open Discord, now you have to choose a server. Servers will be seen as a list along the left side of the screen. And it is important to know that any emoji that you upload can only be used on the server that you choose. Next, you have to click on three lines that you are able to find near the top of the screen to the right of the server’s name.

After that, click on Server Settings that is located in the left column and then click on Emoji which is also located in the left column. Now, you have to click on Upload Emoji which is a blue button at the top right corner of the screen. After that, choose emoji that you have created in Pizap or any other apps. If you want to get best results, it is recommended for you to choose images that are at least 128 x 128 pixels because they will be resized to 32 x 32 pixels if you upload it.

At last, after you upload the emoji, you have to click on Open or Save. Now, your emoji will upload to the Discord server. There are several things that you need to know about making and uploading emoji to Discord. First, are able to upload a maximum of 50 still custom emoji and 50 animated emoji per server. You can upload more if the server has a higher Nitro Boost level. Second, your custom emojis will be sorted by Discord so that they will be easy to find. Third, you need to remember that you will not be able to use the animated emoji that you upload of your account does not have Discord Nitro.
