When you try to login to your Roblox account, you maybe forget your password so that you need to reset it. Or, you have a plan to change your password because the password that you have now is too complicated and it is difficult for you to memorize it.
If you that kind of problem related to password, you are able to change it. If you want to change your password because it is too complicated, difficult to memorize, or bored, not because you forget it, you can follow these steps.

- First, if you want to change you password, of course you have to log into your Roblox account. Log in as usual by entering your Roblox username and also Roblox password.
- After that, you have to click on the Gear icon which can be found at the upper right corner of the website.
- Now, in the pop up menu, you have to choose the Settings options.
- Then, you have to click on the Change Password button. The icon looks like a pencil and paper.
- After that, you have to enter your current Roblox password.
- In this step, you have to enter your new password twice for confirmation purposes.
- At last, you have to verify the email address of your account.
When you change your password, you have to note that a password needs to be between 8 to 20 characters in length and contain at least 2 numbers, 4 letters (both capital and lowercase) and 1 symbol. For your security, it is better if your password has not been used on other websites.
You can also enable 2-Step Verification as an added security measure. This feature is able to be found in your Account Settings Security tab. You can go there by clicking on Gear Icon, Settings and then Security.
Now, how to change password because we forget the current password? If you want to change Roblox password because you forget it, it means that you will reset it. How to do that? You are able to follow the steps which are easy below.
- You are able to reset it by using your email. You are able to do it by clicking on the Forgot your username/ password? link that you can find in the login page.
- Then, you will see a page which should default to the Forgot My Password tab. But, if it does not appear, you will have to choose it.
- Now, you have to enter your email address in the email box and then hit the blue Submit button. In this stage, you have to make sure that you type your email address exactly as you entered it on your account.
- Then, it will send a message to the provided email address with a temporary link that will permit you to reset your password. When you get the email, you have to hit the Reset Password button.
- If you have the only one account which uses the email address, it will open the page where you can enter your new password. However, if you have more than one account that uses the email address, you will be brought to a page that lists all of your accounts. Choose the account who’s password you want to reset and you will be brought to the page where you will enter your new password.
- Now, you can enter and also confirm your new password and hit the Submit button.
