VIP SERVERS
You have to know that VIP servers are the private game servers which can be purchased for participating games. For this case, if you purchase a VIP server, so you have an ability to decide who’s allowed to play the game with you.
MAKING A VIP SERVER
When the game developers select to enable VIP servers for their game, so you or other players are able to make VIP servers by visiting the game’s page. Then, open the Servers tab. For your information, this tab will show all running instances of the game and the players in each one. To make a VIP server, you have to click the “Create VIP Server” button. After that, you will be asked to buy the VIP server. Usually, the price set by the game developer. Then, you are able to give it a name. VIP SERVER SETUP (PLAYERS)
After you purchased a Roblox VIP Server, then you will be find a VIP server on the Servers tab of the game where it was purchased. - You are able to give access to your clan.
When a player is given access to the VIP server, so he or she is going to see the server on the game’s detail page under the Servers tab or in their inventory under the Places category.
VIP SERVER SETUP (DEVELOPERS)
Once you publish a game or place, VIP servers will be enabled by default. To configure VIP servers for your game, follow these steps below:
- Please open the place’s configuration page.
- Then, click the Access tab.
- On the page, you will be see options to enable or disable VIP servers and set the price.
- Just click the Save button.
You have to remember that Roblox VIP servers are only supported for one specific place in a game. In this case, if your game uses multiple places, so we recommend that you set up VIP servers for the game’s start place. Then, if you change the price of your own VIP servers, so all active subscriptions will be canceled. However, the players with subscriptions are going to receive a private message in their inbox about this change.
